Every year MCGS celebrates it’s Founders’ Day on 1st August.
The day begin with Puja in the saraswati temple followed by special assembly for the school, where the School Principal, the School captain, and the School vice captain make speeches about the school’s long standing repute and excellence. After that we celebrate the Schools birthday with cake and tea for everyone. The staff and students then spend some time playing fun games like Tug of War etc.
However, the biggest event of the day is the school fête, Mayo College is invited for this and they join us in our celebrations. . There are stalls of food, including the stalls from the girls who have opted for Village as their SUPW. The students are happy and content by time they go back to their houses. To mark the end of the day, fireworks are lit.
A wonderful celebration of the school’s journey from 88 students to 753 students comes to an end .
