Mayo College Girls’ School, founded in 1988, has excelled in every field over the last two decades. Be it Academics, Cultural Activities, Sports, Literary Activities or Community Service our student’s actively participate in these areas.

The School provides excellent facilities to its students by providing well equipped Departments for Home Science, Science, Computers and separate labs for geography and psychology.

In the Academics since our first ICSE batch in 1994 we have gradually reached higher heights, every year the average has been 80% and above for both ICSE and ISC batches, Some students scoring a perfect 100% in Maths, Economics and Political Science. And our endeavour is to continue achieving good results and be consistent.

Cultural Activities are a very important part of our Curriculum where every child gets an opportunity to explore her talents in various areas, be it Dance Classical, Folk or Contemporary or Instrumental Music Sitar, Violin, Guitar or Piano. Our students enjoy great opportunity to participate in Inter-House, Inter School and IPSC level competitions. Singing is enjoyed by all students and the school has given immense opportunity to its students to show case their talent, many of our Alumni have recorded their work and performed at Concerts in India and Abroad.

In the creative field of Art, Craft and Pottery, our students work is recognized and appreciated at all levels, Inter School and International. At the ‘Shankars International’

Many of our students have won Gold and Silver medals.

Over the years our students have left a mark in the Northern Region of India in Debates and Public Speaking.

Students are encouraged to think and critically analyse different issues and put their view at prestigious Inter School and IPSC Debate. They have regularly won awards and Trophies for their efforts. School has also organized Mock parliaments to help its students to gain confidence and learn the art of Public Speaking.

Sports and games are an important part of our school activities. Students have an opportunity to participate in various games such as basketball, soccer, hockey, tennis, squash, riding, badminton, athletics, acrobatics and cricket. We also provide opportunities to our students to play golf and shooting.

For many years our students have been competitive at all levels. Interschool IPSC, Districts, States and Nationals and have won many medals in swimming, hockey, athletics, basketball, squash and tennis. We also won gold and silver medals this year in the recently introduced shooting at IPSC level in our school. Our cricket team has created history by lifting the cricket IPSC trophy for the past 7 years.

MCGS ihas been a member of the Round Square Association as of 2011. The school also hosted it's very first Model United Nations Conference in April 2012 as a part of it's silver jubilee year celebration.

We believe at MCGS in responsible education, so that our students learn to be compassionate, caring and responsible. School has adopted ‘Danta Village’ where regularly our students interact with the children and elders. Students also work with mentally challenged and deaf and dumb school students. Which will make them caring and good human beings and responsible citizens of the world.

Our Alumni are doing us proud and have made a place for themselves in management, architecture, medical, engineering, law and media. Two of our students have been selected for IAS in recent times. Many of our students have got admitted in prestigious universities in Europe and USA. e.g. London School Of Economics and Cambridge and Harvard.

We continue towards achieving greater heights in every arena with a dedicated team of faculty members and excellent leadership to send our girls out in the world as confident, caring and compassionate human beings.
