ARANGETRAM

A tradition started approximately 10 years ago was revived by the girls of Mayo College Girls’ School Ajmer on the 4th of October, 2022. The Bharatnatyam dance recital known as “Arangetram” of 8 girls from class 12 namely, Anusuiya Mehrotra, Anishaa Halder, Diya Agarwalla, Kanan Meena, Priyamvada Mehrotra, Priyadarshika Rajawat, Priyadarshini Shaktawat and Samara Chib Taank set a benchmark in the history of Mayo College Girls’ School for the years to follow and carry on the tradition of having the Arangetram year after year. It was an evening full of extravagance and reminded each one of us of the rich heritage and culture that our country is known so strongly for.
