Foroige Leadership for Life International Youth Conference

Opening ceremony of the Foroige Leadership for Life International Youth Conference 2019 which has begun on 29 July at National University of Ireland, Maynooth. The Conference is instrumental in empowering the youth with a sense of self assurance and responsibility.Today’s program includes a brief about the nature of this Conference and a preview of what the week has stored for the youth. Mayo College Girls’ School is the only representative of India at this Conference. There will be around 300 young students from all over the world participating in this Module which Is Module 1. They will be divided in mixed groups. There will be tasks and challenges that these young people will have to accomplish as a team, putting aside all differences and promoting the concept of acceptance and tolerance. This Conference is one of the highlights of international programmes offered at Mayo College Girls’ School and our girls who return from this event term it as a ‘ life-changing’ experience.
