IPSC DANCE FESTIVAL MELANGE
Mayo College Girls’ School hosted the IPSC dance festival -MELANGE from the 2nd to the 4th of September,2022. These two days were filled with unparalleled performances in various categories, which were-choreography, folk dance, classical solo performances, and western dance. Day 1 opened with the choreography category of the Festival, where the participants enthralled the audience with their meticulously designed performances. Post lunch, we witnessed the magic of classical solo dance performances, which filled us with awe! The judges for the day were Ms. Manju Bhargava, Ms. Amita Bhargava, and Mr. Parthraj Parmar, who accomplished the daunting task of choosing the winners for both categories. The last category of the day was a folk dance, where the participants filled the auditorium with their electrifying energy and fantastic spectacle.
Day 2 began with various spirited western dance performances, which ended the festival on a very energetic note. The judges for this event were Mr. Kishan Singh Kachhawa and Mr. Pranay Mathur. The following positions were secured by various teams :-

Jury’s choice award: Scindia Kanya Vidyalaya, Gwalior
Solo classical category
Outstanding performance: Modern School, Barakhamba road

Jury’s choice award: Maharani Gayatri Devi School, Jaipur
Group Folk Dance

Most promising dance performance: Mody School Laxman Garh
Jury’s choice award: Emerald Heights International School, Indore
Western dance category
Outstanding dance performance: Mayo College Girls’ School and Scindia Kanya Vidhyalaya , Gwalior
