Our heartfelt condolences to Mrs. S. Sundararajan’s family
Dear girls, friends and colleagues,
It is with great sadness that we share with you the news that Mrs. S. Sundararajan passed away early this morning at 1.00 a.m. She lived in an Old Age Home at Chennai where she breathed her last after a severe kidney infection. She was in her nineties.
After retiring from Welham Girls’ School, Dehradun, she joined the Mayo College Girls’ School as a Senior Mathematics Teacher in July, 1989, and left school after a long, meritorious period of service on the 1st of July, 2006. A visionary in the field of education, she was an exemplary Director Studies, Head of Department of Mathematics and Housemistress of Padmini House.
Her contribution to the progress and development of the School has been immeasurable and MCGS will remain indebted to her for all time to come.
We pray to God that her soul may rest in peace. Our prayers go out to the family. May the Almighty give them the strength to cope with this great loss.
The entire MCGS family
