New Students Orientation 2023
Mayo College Girls’ School welcomed its second batch of new students for the academic year 2023-24 on the 2nd of April with an informative and interactive orientation session. The new students of classes VI and VII were welcomed by the Officiating Principal, Mrs Supreet Bakshi in her address this morning where she emphasised on the importance of positive and healthy communication between the school and the parents. Mrs. Bakshi also focused on the partnership between both and its impact on the development of each child studying with us. Mrs. Bakshi shared with the parents the factors and experiences that make a girl a true Mayoite. She said that the students are at the core of every effort invested by the school.There should be open and transparent communication between the school and the parents.The School Captain, Pari Shah, shared her experience of being a student at Mayo College Girls’ School and its influence on her life. She inspired the students to ‘persevere and trust the process’ in order to make the most of being at Mayo.All the new students were welcomed by the School Captain and the School Vice-Captain, Palak Vohra, by presenting them the Pachranga school tie and a framed copy of the school song, as their initiation and integration into the Mayo family. The students of class VI and VII were also introduced to the Cambridge Lower Secondary curriculum, that the school offers,in a session conducted by Mrs. Smita Goyal, Director Academics (Jr.).
