Teaching to Learn
Teaching to Learn’ is an academic initiative for Classes IV to VIII. This initiative is based on the concept of flipped classes and peer learning. As a part of this initiative, a concept-based competition was organised for the students of Class V on the 29th of July, 2021. The concepts chosen for this competition were taken from the Curriculum of Class V.
This competition helped students in having a better understanding of the concepts. The background research that was undertaken by the students boosted their knowledge. The students were encouraged to share their views and enhance their speaking skills. The participants gained confidence and built competence not only as learners but also as teachers.
23 students from Class V participated in the ‘Teaching to Learn’ competition. The students could use any teaching aid while explaining the concepts.
The students received appreciation from the Judges- Mrs Raina Sharma, Mrs Neha Sharma and Ms Devyani Prabhu (2019-20 batch). The senior students who mentored the Class V students are Dia Goyal, Aahna Mehta and Soumya Singh. This competition was organised under the guidance of Ms Smita Goyal.
