World scholar’s Cup Tournament of Champions 2019
A delegation of 14 students is at Yale, New Haven, USA from 7th to 17th November, 2019. The first day of the event was a lean day for the delegation as they had a guided tour of the Yale University Campus. The students were acquainted with the history of this one of the Ivy League Universities and the contribution of various people in making it such a seat of knowledge. The students thoroughly enjoyed the tour and were awed by the Beinecke Rare books and Manuscript Library which is one of the largest libraries of the country and preserves more that five million manuscripts from all over. It also has the first print of the Gutenberg Bible, published in 1454 A.D. The Sterling Memorial Library is another interesting piece of architectural marvel as it was constructed as a Cathedral but owing to the secularity that the University offers to all its students, it was named and used as a Library which houses around one million books on all subjects and topics of learning.
