Balsabha is an integral part of the dance and music section of our school. Balsabha is a school event in which all children are given a chance to go on stage and showcase their talents by dancing on upbeat latest soundtracks or singing harmonizing melodies during either the Christmas or end of term. They often help the school in discovering hidden talents for the activities in our girls.
Time and tide waits for none. At the verge of the Autumn Term after a major half yearly exam it is understandable how relaxed the children feel. Christmas balsabha is a reminder for all of us for the end of the term, festivities of Christmas, rigorous winter camp. The hearts are filled with new hopes, to reach out for new opportunities and to Reach out to our friends and family,…
One of the most well conducted bal sabha of MCGS depicting high standards of the School. Thanks Santa for telling us the meaning of claustrophobia (you do need to change the dictionary meaning) Santa your riddles and jokes were well taken by the audience. The reindeers were supportive and followed the Santa everywhere. Sure you had a lovely ride with all of them in and outside the stadium. Pritika Minhas (Santa) you well deserve the prize for dramatics.
Now let me come to the evening attractions. Students of all classes danced. There were a few group songs and duets by the children. The most amazing item was the Sikhimese song by class VI. As all MCGS functions it was followed by a jam session followed by dinner.
MCGS staff joins me in wishing the students a very Happy New Year
“A little smile. A word of cheer. A bit of love from someone near. A little gift from one held dear. Best wishes for the coming year. These make a Merry Christmas!”
