Cross Cultural Leadership Programme by WLSA
The World Leading Schools Association is a well-known member driven, international education non- profit organisation that connects students from all over the World. The aim of the organisation is to create unprejudiced world leaders for a better tomorrow. They conduct many programmes to promote interaction between students worldwide. In 2020, WLSA conducted a twenty week long Cross Cultural Leadership Programme for students all around the world. There were students from India, The United Kingdom, The United States of America, South Africa, Brazil, Germany and many more countries. The Cross Cultural Leadership Programme gives students a platform to promote their culture and value while learning from one another and prepares them to become confident and self-assured individuals. Two students from Mayo College Girls’ School, Saanvi Kapoor and Laila Banerjee, were fortunate to be able to participate in such a prestigious event. Our students participated in many group and individual activities such as solving ethical leadership dilemma’s, writing challenges and personal SWOT which helped enhance strategic thinking and efficiency. They truly enjoyed this programme and ended it with lessons and friends that would stay with them for a life time. Our school stands to encourage our young evolving minds by opening this door of exposure which commits to embracing their character as well as shaping them to be better leaders, and more importantly, better individuals.
